Brain Navi Vol.8: Vietnam – Japan relationship is getting closer and closer

2015/07/24

Dear our precious customers, I am Kondo Noboru, CEO of Brain Works Group. This is Brain Navi - our online magazine which is being established periodically.

Recently, you can see many Vietnamese people in Japan. It is shown obviously through statistic number. The number of Vietnamese people in Japan now is about 100.000 people. And this number is going up sharply in recent years.

The number of Vietnamese students in Japan is also increasing rapidly year by year. In previous time, top three countries which have the most number of students in Japan are China, Korea, Taiwan. However, although these numbers are still high, the number of students from Vietnam has increased overwhelmingly, only following China. This is really shown how fast the number of Vietnamese people coming to Japan is increasing.

This is also good news for both countries. From now on, we also expect that relationship between two countries will grow closer and deeper.

With the aim of developing strongly tourism industry, Japan is boosting a variety of PR activities to attract more visitors. Local tourism enterprises are very eager to attract more and more foreign tourists. Another example demonstrating the globalization of Japan is that they put many signs and instructions in multiple languages, and the multiple languages voice service are also available.

Not only for sightseeing, but also we are implementing the survey tours (business tourism) to support Asian enterprises in surveying Japanese market. The opportunity for Asian enterprises to come and survey Japanese market is increasing. Our company can support and coordinate with Asian enterprises, so we are looking for Vietnamese enterprises to join us.

Besides, we are also looking forward to more and more Japanese people and enterprises coming to Vietnam. Because of this reason, we have spent time talking about Vietnam in our seminars in Japan. The number of Japanese people and enterprises coming to Vietnam has risen recently, however we hope it will increase more. We really hope the expanding relationship between Vietnam and Japan is not only a temporary phenomenon.

From November 20th – 22nd, we will co-organize a Vietnam- Japan exchange event called “The First JAPAN Days in Mekong Delta”. For Japanese people who only know about Hanoi and HCMC, we would like to take them to Can Tho city – the biggest city of Mekong Delta. We also hope that they will have the best experience in Vietnam.
